«Сподівання» Олени Толкачової у Музеї Шолом-Алейхема
5 червня у київському Музеї Шолом-Алейхема (філія Музею історії міста Києва) відбулося відкриття виставки графіки Олени Толкачової під назвою «Сподівання».
Відомий український майстер Олена Толкачова - художниця в третьому поколінні. Вона трактує свої роботи, що представлені на цієї виставці як рефлексію на зовнішні та внутрішні питання до себе та світу. Відповіді іноді тривожні; іноді - болючі; іноді іронічні, але завжди - життєствердні.
«Сподівання - мій стан сьогодні. З цим почуттям я живу і малюю», - говорить Олена Толкачова. - «З автопортретів останніх років з різними почуттями, в різних станах я дивлюсь на вікна. Ці вікна заклеєні скотчем, - і скотч міцно тримає мій світ, не дає йому розлетітися на уламки. Мої сподівання на те, що світ вціліє, перемагають усі інші почуття».
Олена - онука художника Зіновія Толкачов - класика українського мистецтва. Вона навчалася в РХСШ ім. Т.Г. Шевченка, згодом, з 1986 року, через Чорнобильську катастрофу - у МСХШ. Згодом закінчила Університет друкарства за спеціальністю художник-графік.
З 1997 р. Олена Толкачова бере щорічну участь у всеукраїнських, міжнародних, групових та персональних виставках, проєктах, трієнале графіки, інших мистецьких акціях. Вона - учасниця міжнародних та українських пленерів і аукціонів.
Роботи Олени зберігаються в Національному музеї "Київська картинна галерея", Національному музеї ім. Т.Г. Шевченка, Запорізькому художньому музеї, Черкаському художньому музеї, Дирекції художніх виставок України та приватних колекціях України, Канади, Франції, США, Бельгії, Чехії.
З 2009 року і донині Олена Толкачова - у складі Національної Спілки художників України. Вона працює в галузі станкової графіки; мешкає у Києві.
Виставка «Сподівання» у Музеї Шолом-Алейхема триватиме до 23 червня.

Olena Tolkachova's "Hope" at the Sholom-Aleichem Museum
On June 5, the exhibition of graphics by Olena Tolkachova - entitled "The Hope" - opened at the Sholom-Aleichem Museum (a branch of the Kyiv History Museum).
The famous Ukrainian master Olena Tolkachova is an artist in the third generation. She interprets her works presented at this exhibition as a reflection on external and internal questions to herself and the world. The answers are sometimes disturbing; sometimes - painful; sometimes ironic, but always life-affirming.
“Hope is my condition today. I live and paint with this feeling”, says Olena Tolkachova. “From the self-portraits of recent years with different feelings, in different states, I look through the windows. These windows are sealed with tape, and the tape holds my world firmly, prevents it from falling into pieces. My hope that the world will survive overcomes all other feelings”.
Olena is the granddaughter of the artist Zinovy Tolkachov - a classic of Ukrainian art. She studied the Taras Shevchenko Republican Art High School, later, from 1986, due to the Chernobyl disaster - in the M.S.H.SH. Later, she graduated from the University of Printing with a specialty of graphic artist.
Since 1997, Olena Tolkachova has been annually participating in all-Ukrainian, international, group and personal exhibitions, projects, graphics triennial, and other art events. She is a participant of international and Ukrainian plein-air exhibitions and auctions.
Olena's works are stored in the National Museum "Kyiv Art Gallery", the Taras Shevchenko National Museum, Zaporizhia Art Museum, Cherkasy Art Museum, Directorate of Art Exhibitions of Ukraine and private collections of Ukraine, Canada, France, USA, Belgium, Czechia.
Since 2009, Olena Tolkachova has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. She works in the field of easel graphics; lives in Kyiv.
Exhibition "The Hope" at the Sholom-Aleichem Museum will last until June 23.
