Зоя Лерман (1934-2014)
- українська мисткиня - живописець та графік нон-конформістського,
андеграундного спрямування.
Вона народилася 14 червня 1934 року у Києві. Закінчила Республіканську художню школу імені Шевченка. У
1959 р. закінчила Київський художній інститут (вчителі С. Григор'єв, В.
Костецький, Г. Меліхов). Григор’єв давав своїм учням свободу, яка тоді була заборонена.
Лерман також захоплювалась живописом Врубеля, Пікассо, полотнами часів Відродження.
У
1960 р.
вона вступила до Національної спілки
художників України.
Творчість Зої Лерман припала на часи офіційного
«суворого стилю», соцреалізму.
Незважаючи на те, що мистецький шлях Зої Лерман
переживав різні часи: від повної професійної ізоляції до розквіту, вона виховала не одне покоління
талановитих учнів-художників.
Майже весь час Лерман працювала не на показ -
персональних виставок не мала до 1994 р.,
а із Союзу художників отримувала лише другорядні замовлення. Найбільше Лерман
зверталася до портретів, особливо жіночих, зображала матерів з дітьми,
захоплювалася балеринами, танцюристами, деякий час досліджувала життя селянок,
фольклор.
Її пластика дуже виразна. Мета її робіт
нематеріальна і фотографічна, і тому форма її вільна. Вона підпорядкована не
фізичним чи біологічним константам, а ідеї самої роботи, бажання досягти
максимальної виразності. Це принцип емоційного впливу зображення, яким володіє
великий художник.
Лерман майстерньо
передавала пластичність тіл своїх героїв, рух.
Вона обирала лише декілька кольорів, використовувала світло-сіре тло для об’єднання
всієї композиції. Її роботам притамані широкими, сміливими, але дуже влучними мазками.
Світ Зої Лерман - жінки. Це світ дивовижний, ілюзорний, у
якому все по-дитячому просто.
Її світ - мрійливий, де все добре, як було в дитинстві.
Твори Лерман
знаходяться
у колекціях Національного художнього музею України, Музею сучасного
образотворчого мистецтва України, Дирекції художніх виставок НСХУ, приватних
колекціях Європи, США, Ізраїлю.
Зоя Лерман брала
участь у багатьох виставках, які продовжилися і після її смерті. У 2016 р. відбулася її виставка у Музеї Шолом-Алейхема.

Zoya
Lerman (1934-2014) is a Ukrainian artist, painter and graphic artist of the
non-conformist, underground direction.
She was born on
June 14, 1934 in Kyiv. She graduated from the Shevchenko Republican Art School.
In 1959, she graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (teachers S. Grigoriev, V.
Kostetskyi, G. Melikhov). Grigoriev gave his students freedom that was
forbidden at the time. Lerman also admired the paintings of Vrubel, Picasso,
and Renaissance paintings. In 1960, she joined the National Union of Artists of
Ukraine.
Zoe Lerman's
work fell into the era of the official "strict style", socialist
realism.
Despite the fact
that the artistic path of Zoya Lerman went through different times: from
complete professional isolation to prosperity, she educated more than one
generation of talented student artists.
Almost all the
time, Lerman did not work for the show - she did not have personal exhibitions
until 1994, and received only secondary orders from the Union of Artists.
Lerman mostly turned to portraits, especially women's, depicted mothers with
children, admired ballerinas, dancers, for some time researched the life of peasant
women, folklore.
Her plasticity
is very expressive. The purpose of her works is immaterial and photographic,
and therefore her form is free. It is subordinated not to physical or
biological constants, but to the idea of the work itself, the desire to
achieve maximum expressiveness. This is the principle of emotional impact of
the image, which a great artist possesses.
Lerman
masterfully conveyed the plasticity of her characters' bodies, movement. She
chose only a few colors, used a light gray background to unify the whole
composition. Her works are characterized by broad, bold, but very accurate
strokes.
The world of Zoe
Lerman is women. This is a wonderful, illusory world, in which everything is
childishly simple. Her world is dreamy, where everything is fine, as it was in
childhood.
Lerman's works
are in the collections of the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Museum of
Modern Fine Arts of Ukraine, the Directorate of Art Exhibitions of the NSHU,
private collections in Europe, the USA, and Israel.
Zoya Lerman
participated in many exhibitions that continued even after her death. In 2016,
her exhibition was held at the Sholom-Aleichem Museum.
